I'm trying to add a picture using the toolbar above. Here goes--No, it didn't open a screen for me to choose an image to add from my hard drive like the U Tube tutorial said it would.

Week 4 --Thing 9

When searching on the Bloglines listings I immediately found a site that will be great for my Interior Design Class. It is design my room.com and features many ways to change & design rooms. I spent so much time playing with this tool, that I did not search for many others.

Week 4--Thing 8 -- RSS Feeds & Bloglines

I read about RSS feeds & Mr. ?'s applications for teachers. Such a lot to remember!

I did get my Blogline account set up and searched for feeds to link. I added four that might relate to my foods and interior design courses. Somehow three others got added, too. Maybe these were related to a question about interests??? I'll probably delete some of these. I didn't figure out if there was a way to search for topics of feeds-- that 1000 favorite list went on and on. I looked through the first 200+.

After I first posted this, I found the search window & topics right at the top of the page---- so obvious I missed it! I'll have to go back and add more feeds and get rid on some useless ones.

Week 3-- Thing 7

Wow! I'm not sure I can ever get my mind wrapped around all of these options. I guess, I need to stop trying to understand and just keep clicking until I get back where I want, like the students do.

I can see that my Interior Design students would have great fun creating their own designer Avatar and a magazine of designs they like, etc. I'm sure there are blogs my Culinary Arts students would love, too.

Week 3--Thing 6

I am intrigued by the magazine cover design. I went throught the process of doing it, but did not take the time to get pictures posted on Flickr.
